The Day of Mourning is a day when we remember those who have died, been injured or suffered illness in the workplace, but also to collectively renew our commitment to protect the living, improve health and safety, and make work a place where people are safe and can thrive. On April 28th, take time to pause, reflect and renew your commitment to an injury-free workplace.
This past weekend, NPL Canada participated in the 2024 Enbridge Hockey Tournament in London, Ontario. The tournament consisted of 3 games and the NPL Canada team finished in 2nd place. Congratulations to the entire team!!![]()

Las week, NPL Canada’s Fleet Department took part in the 2024 Motive Power Job Fair, held at Conestoga College’s Guelph Campus where they were able to engage with talented, workplace-ready students eager to apply their knowledge and skills. Paul Lagerwerf, Director of Fleet and Equipment, and Julian Chilco, Service Coordinator, attended to showcase the opportunities at NPL Canada and how these students could begin to build their careers on Solid Ground. It was an enriching experience being able to connect with the next generation of motive power technicians and professionals.
